The Murse

Maybe it's just me, but I am gladly noticing more 'acceptance' of men being as fashionable as women without all the effeminacy and sexual orientation stigmas. One item that is gaining that 'acceptance' is the man purse or the murse.

Those things have been around for ages, but the ones that were designed for men looked (to me) stiff and suitcase-like, they looked like those small bags criminals used to exchange stuff. It's like the designers went out of their way to add every masculine touch there is to the bag, which just made it horrible.

However, I think it was necessity rather than enlightment that pushed the murse out. People, including men, carry so many things these days, from cellphones to iPods not forgetting the keys and wallet. I would stuff my pockets with all those things and it would look awful and feel uncomfortable. I tried many bags to carry these things, but they were just horrible to have around. I tried few messenger bags as well, but couldn't find the perfect one.

The other day I saw the William Sledd murse clip (above) and loved it! I also watched some of the feedbacks clips from some guys and kind of related to them and all the totes on Sledd's or the others' clips were AMAZING . I REALLY hope this catches on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
